MapleStory Classic World Crusader build and leveling guide, Lv 70-120 (CoT2)

I am a Crusader. Where do the points go and where do I train?
iWhat Crusader build and leveling, Lv 70-120 is
A combo counter that makes everything else hit harder, and two attacks built on top of it: one for a crowd, one for a boss. This page is the climb from 70 to 120: what to stand on in each band and which quests are worth the detour. The Crusader page has the other half - every skill, the whole SP order with its levels worked out, and the gear behind it.

CoT2: From Closed Online Test 2 (Beta 2). Not in the Public Release; kept here as a record.Crusader is a 3rd job, and the Public Release has no 3rd job. This guide is Closed Online Test 2’s: the class, its skills and the Ossyria maps it trains on are kept here as a record, each marked, and may look different when the job comes back. Where the points go

: STR

STR is your damage on every warrior weapon, and DEX is both what lets you hold it and what makes it land. Do not treat DEX as spare: from level 20 up, every sword, axe and blunt weapon on the ladder below carries a DEX requirement alongside its STR one, reaching 65 by level 70. The accuracy formula is also kinder to a warrior’s DEX than to an archer’s, so the points you spend meeting the weapon are doing two jobs at once.

: the order, not the levels
  1. 1.It multiplies everything below it, so it goes first.
  2. 2.Four monsters at 160% is what you level on.
  3. 3.320% on one monster is what you bring to a boss.
  4. 4.Six monsters, and it refills the combo for you. Twenty ranks is a 170% reach and an 89% combo chance; the doubled range is rank 30, which this order does not reach.

The whole order, with the level each step lands at, is on the class page. It is kept in one place so the two cannot disagree.

What to watch
  • Seven skills, 180 ranks, and 151 points by level 120. Something is getting left out no matter how you order it.
  • Combo Attack is a resource, not a buff you cast and forget: it builds on hits and it drops. Shout is the cheapest way to fill it.
  • The export carries no cast times, so whether Coma or Shout clears a platform faster is not something this page can settle.

Read off the item rows by the job each row names, so this list gains a type when the game does. Lower speed stages are faster; the attack speed page has what each stage means and what a Booster does to it.

The advancement

Closed Online Test 2 carried this class and every one of its skills, and the site models the advancement at level 70, after the level 30 one in Perion. No third-job advancement quest was in the test’s quest rows, and the Public Release has no third job at all, so nothing here tells you where to go for it.
