Each region is its painted sheet from the client, with the towns placed by hand where the sheet draws them and every other map laid out by the portals that reach it. A map no portal reaches is counted as unconnected: it is in the files, and nothing in the files says how to walk there.
CoT2: From Closed Online Test 2 (Beta 2). Not in the Public Release; kept here as a record.127 maps are Closed Online Test 2’s alone: the Public Release does not have them. They stay on their sheets as a record. A place made only of them has its dot ringed in a dashed line, and a sheet made only of them has its tab marked.
56 landmarks, 144 places in all. Search to reach the rest. Towns sit where they really are; everywhere else is placed by the portals that reach it. Click a place to see the maps inside it.
Click a dot to read the place: what spawns there and how thickly, what it drops, who stands about, and where the exits go. Browse every location as a list if you already know the name.
