iWhat Map pathfinder is
Every map’s portals name the map they lead to, which makes the world a graph, and the shortest walk between two maps is a breadth-first search over it. No weights: a portal is a portal, and one screen of walking is much like the next. The walk keeps to the Public Release’s own maps unless one end is a map only Closed Online Test 2 had.

Breadth-first over the portal graph, so the answer is the fewest doors rather than the shortest distance - nothing in the files says how long a map takes to cross. Portals count in both directions; a handful of one-way drops would otherwise make ordinary walks look impossible. The search gives up after 12 hops, past which “cross the world” is the honest answer and the world map is the page for it.
