MapleStory Classic World Cleric build and leveling guide, Lv 30-70

Lv 30-7012 min read
I am a Cleric. Where do the points go and where do I train?
iWhat Cleric build and leveling, Lv 30-70 is
The one class whose attack is also its healing. Heal hits up to six undead monsters and puts HP back into the party in the same cast. This page is the climb from 30 to 70: what to stand on in each band and which quests are worth the detour. The Cleric page has the other half - every skill, the whole SP order with its levels worked out, and the gear behind it.

Where the points go

: INT

INT for damage and for accuracy both, so there is no second stat to balance for the numbers - and one for the weapon. Fourteen of the seventeen wands and staves on the ladder below want LUK as well as INT: every rung above level 15, and one of the two at level 15, climbing to 65 LUK for the best of them at level 70. Spending nothing but INT is a real choice, and what it buys you is the level 15 wand for the rest of the game, so make it on purpose: AP does not come back.

: the order, not the levels
  1. 1.Your attack, your healing and your potion budget, in one skill.
  2. 2.The answer to everything that is not undead.
  3. 3.One point teleports you. The other nineteen only make it cheaper and further.
  4. 4.Three points. Heal is expensive and this pays for some of it.

The whole order, with the level each step lands at, is on the class page. It is kept in one place so the two cannot disagree.

What to watch
  • Heal only attacks undead. On anything else it heals and does nothing else, so a Cleric picks maps differently from every other class - check a monster’s page before you commit to it.
  • Bless sits behind two other skills: Invincible needs Heal at 5, and Bless needs Invincible at 5. Five points in Invincible is a toll, not an investment.
  • A Cleric levels slower than an I/L Wizard and spends nothing doing it. That trade is the whole fork.

Read off the item rows by the job each row names, so this list gains a type when the game does. Lower speed stages are faster; the attack speed page has what each stage means and what a Booster does to it.

Where to stand

No map in the Public Release suits this band. The ones that would are Closed Online Test 2 maps, listed apart and marked on the training guide.

The advancement

You are here because you took the level 30 advancement in Ellinia. The Public Release stops there: it has no third job. Closed Online Test 2 had one, which the site models at level 70 and keeps marked CoT2, but no third-job advancement quest was in either build’s quest rows, so nothing here tells you where to go for it.
