CoT2: From Closed Online Test 2 (Beta 2). Not in the Public Release; kept here as a record. The Public Release has no 3rd job. an I/L Mage is kept from Closed Online Test 2 with its own skills as the test had them, so a build saved then still loads. Only the skills it keeps from earlier jobs are the live game’s, at the Public Release’s numbers. What the release removed
Magic Guard turns most of the damage you take into MP loss, so your blue bar is your health bar.
The line under each name is what the skill does at its last rank, read off the row. max N beside the name holds that against what a single point buys, which is the argument for spending the rest of them.
Anywhere on a card opens it, for every rank, its reach and what it rolls. Words like rank, mastery or booster are underlined wherever they are used and carry their own explanation.
You cannot max everything, and nothing in the game says so. For an order to spend them in, take one somebody has played.
I/L Mage builds ›One point at the advancement and three a level, until level 120 stops this pool filling. The ranks are every rank the 7 skills hold between them, which is why the two numbers are not the same one counted twice.
Choosing what to leave out is the whole of building this class. The builds page is where somebody else's choice is written down, with the levels they made it at.
The tooltip states a damage or healing number. Mostly these are what you press to kill things; one or two are buffs that add damage rather than deal it, which is why the heading says damage and not attacks.
Basic Attack 120, Mastery level 10, Attack Range 200%; Slowed for 3 sec
Basic Attack 240, Mastery level 10; 50% chance to be electrocuted
MP -35, Basic Attack 250, Mastery level 10
Everything whose tooltip states no damage: buffs, debuffs, movement, summons and doors.
MP cost increased to 150%, Magic Attack Damage increased to 135%
100% chance to Seal enemies for 20 sec
Increases Magic Casting Speed by 2 stages for 300 sec
Marked passive in the data. You buy the ranks and never press a key.
40% increased Fire, Ice, Lightning and Poison Resistance
These belong to the jobs an I/L Mage advanced through. They are still yours, they still cost out of those jobs’ own pools, and each has its own guide page.
Regenerates 1% of Max MP every 10 seconds; increases MP recovery from items by 20%

Nothing: an I/L Mage was the top of this branch in Closed Online Test 2. Level 70 to 120 was the whole of the rest of the ladder, and its skills were the last book you were handed.
an I/L Mage was an I/L Wizard first in Closed Online Test 2, and every one of its skills is in the test’s files. The advancement between the two never was: no quest chain for it anywhere. The walk below is the one this game has had for twenty years, recorded rather than read out of the files, and every place and person it names is a row the test carried (El Nath and the rest of Ossyria are kept from it, marked), so the map beside a step is the test’s map.
What no test can check is the order of it, and nothing here says the live game will add a 3rd job this way, or at all.
an I/L Mage is what an I/L Wizard becomes, so the whole of the route to here runs through that job. Its own advancement - the level 30 chain in Ellinia - is on its page, drawn step by step.
Level 70 is the series' own number rather than a row in this export. It is the level in the badge at the top of this page, the level the skill point pool starts filling at, and the level every number below is drawn from - and it is the one figure here the snapshot does not vouch for.
El Nath is the mountain town above Orbis, reached by the tower rather than on foot, and like the rest of Ossyria it is Closed Online Test 2's: the Public Release does not have it. Robeira is one of four instructors standing in Chief's Residence - the test's rows put all four of them on that one map.
Robeira sends you home to the instructor who gave you your second job. They are where they have always been, and they are the one who sets the test.
East out of Ellinia, through the north forest maps. A Door of Dimension there opens onto a copy of Grendel the Really Old; beating it yields the Black Charm. Nothing in the export marks the door, so the map is the row and the door is not.
Grendel the Really Old takes the charm and gives the necklace. That is one of the two things Robeira wants back.
Climb to it from Sharp Cliff II, above El Nath. The snapshot puts exactly one NPC on that map and calls it Holy Stone - not "the Wise Man", which is the name every write-up of this uses. Five questions, and one wrong answer fails the whole attempt.
The Necklace of Wisdom from your own instructor and the Necklace of Wisdom from the quiz. That is the advancement.
This is the half Closed Online Test 2's files are complete on. Every I/L Mage skill is kept with the test's per-rank numbers, and all 7 of them are on the first tab of this page.
Every question the pool is known to draw from, searchable - because one wrong answer out of five costs the whole attempt and another Dark Crystal. Answers this snapshot can settle are marked; the rest are what players recorded for the older game, and are worth reading as a strong hint rather than a guarantee.

Ranked by what each map’s own spawn table can produce - spawn points times EXP over the respawn timer, counting only monsters inside the band. It is a ceiling nobody reaches and the right way to compare one map with another. The full levelling guide has every band, every column and the working.
Every weapon the class can hold, with everything that is not an upgrade removed: a rung is a weapon that beats anything you could already be carrying at its level, so “gain” is what it adds over the rung above it. Sidegrades and later weaker weapons are left out and the item browser still has them. The ladder starts from level 1 on purpose - the rungs below your level are the ones you arrived holding.

The highest INT in each slot a Magician can wear, then attack, then defence.
Nothing is left out for being low level, because armour does not stop being wearable: the best piece in several of these slots wants half the level of the worst, and the level on each row is when you can put it on.
Where the game ships one piece as a male and a female version, both are named and the numbers are the same either way.
Where the best piece a male character can wear and the best a female character can wear are two different items, each is listed with its own level and stat.
