Founder’s Packages are on sale: three tiers, $29.99 to $79.99, closing 14 October
Nexon opened the Founder’s Package sale on 2 September and published the detail with it, then kept adding to the page. This is that page: the three tiers and what is in each box, what every item is worth in duration and tradability, the two storefronts that sell one and the reason there are only two, Nexon’s own two videos, the Frieren collection it put on sale beside them on 9 September with the drop rates written out, and all twenty-two of its answers.

The Ossyria Exploration Report named 2 September as the day the Founder’s Packages went on sale and said the detail would follow. It has. Nexon’s sale page carries three tiers, prices in three currencies, an upgrade path between them, a per-item table of what expires and what does not, and a FAQ that has grown from twenty entries to twenty-two. What follows is that page, recorded, with the numbers transcribed into text rather than left as pixels in a graphic.
The short version: everything in every tier is cosmetic and Nexon says so twice. What the money actually buys, beyond the look of the thing, is two weeks: the Orange Mushroom and Zakum Packages open Founder’s Access on 6 October, and progress made in that window carries into Grand Launch on 21 October. The Snail Package does not, and a Snail buyer starts on the 21st with everyone else.

An exclusive hat, a leaf effect, a transformation consumable and one to three outfit sets, depending on the tier. The Orange Mushroom Package and the Zakum Package also open Founder’s Access on 6 October, two weeks before Grand Launch, and progress made in that window carries over.

Where to buy one, and why only there
Two storefronts, and they do not carry the same thing. Nexon’s own page sells all three tiers and is the only place a tier can be upgraded; Steam sells the Zakum Package and nothing else. There is no key to redeem in either case, which is the fact that makes every other seller impossible rather than merely unwise.

Buy from Nexon or Steam, and nowhere else
Buy only from Nexon or from Steam. There is no key to redeem and no code to enter: a package is attached to the Nexon account that bought it, and its items are delivered to that account automatically on first login. So there is nothing a third-party seller, key reseller, marketplace listing or auction can hand over that would work, and a Founder’s Package offered anywhere other than the two storefronts above is either a stolen account or nothing at all. Nexon will not help with a purchase made outside its own storefronts.
MapleStory Quest sells nothing, takes no payment and gets nothing if you buy one. Problems with a purchase go to Nexon Player Support, not to us.

Upgrades are on the Nexon website only, are not available on Steam, and close with the rest of the sale at 11:59 PM PDT on 14 October 2026. Upgrading delivers only the lines the higher tier adds; nothing already claimed is duplicated, and a package cannot be downgraded once bought.
How the items actually reach you
Nexon states this as five steps with four deadlines attached, and missing any of them loses the items. There is no coupon and no code: the package is attached to the account that bought it and arrives in that account’s in-game mailbox.
- Everything is delivered automatically the first time you log in to Classic World. There is no coupon to redeem and no code to enter.
- The items wait in your in-game mailbox. Claim them there before 30 November 2026 at 11:59 PM UTC, or they expire.
- You have to leave Maple Island before the package can be opened.
- Once claimed from the mailbox, you have 30 days to open the box.
- Opening it turns the boxed outfit sets into the individual pieces, which are then permanent and untradable, though they can be moved between characters on the same account through the Cash Inventory.
All package items are delivered automatically upon your first login to Classic World, with no manual coupon redemption needed. You can claim the items from your in-game mailbox until November 30, 2026 at 11:59 PM UTC. You will need to leave Maple Island before you can open your Founder’s Package, and once you claim it from your mailbox, you will have 30 days to open it.
Nexon’s two videos
Both run on the sale page, and both are about an outfit set rather than about the sale: the Dark Lord clip is the Founder’s Thief Outfit Set the upper two tiers are built around, and Manji’s Burden is the set only the Zakum Package carries. Neither is embedded until you press play - the poster frames are mirrored here, so a visit that does not watch one fetches nothing from YouTube.

The outfits in the game
The Frieren collection sold beside them
A week after the packages, on 9 September, Nexon put a second thing on this page: the Signature Style Collection, an outfit box from the Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End collaboration. It is not a fourth tier and this write-up would ignore it on that basis alone, except that it is sold from the same page, with the same Buy button, to the same reader, and it works nothing like the packages do. A Founder’s Package is a price and a list. This is 7,900 NX for one random set out of ten.
Which makes the drop rates the only part of it worth a section. Nexon publishes them, on a page of its own that the sale page does not link to, and they are the table below: the three Frieren sets are 1.5% each, and the set you are most likely to get is Lügner at 30%. Everything else here is Nexon’s too - the prices off the shop’s own event data, the delivery window and the no-trading rule off the sale page, the contents and the two staff skills off the detail post.

The three Frieren sets - the character on the banner - are 4.5% together, or about one box in 22. That is arithmetic on the table above rather than anything Nexon says, and it is an average rather than a promise: every box is rolled on its own.
Reaching a Classic World character
- The Signature Style Collection items will be delivered automatically to your Classic World account during the Grand Launch.
- You can pick up the items from your in-game mailbox after leaving Maple Island on Classic World from Oct. 23 until Nov. 3 at 11:59 PM UTC.
- Items will no longer be available for pickup after Nov. 3 at 11:59 PM UTC. Signature Style Collection coupons and the resulting items cannot be traded in Classic World.
Nexon’s detail post also prints “Duration: 7 days” under the price and does not say whether that is the coupon’s life or the outfits’. Nothing else it has published settles it, so the line is recorded here and not interpreted.

How can I upgrade my package?
The Zakum Package can be purchased once per account on each platform (once on the Nexon website and once on Steam). Please note that a single purchase will grant all items and Founder’s Access.
If you purchased either the Snail or Orange Mushroom Package through the Nexon website, you can upgrade to a higher tier (Orange Mushroom or Zakum) at any time during the sales period by paying the price difference. When you upgrade, only the additional items from the new tier are delivered to your mailbox, and any items you have already claimed will not be duplicated.
Snail to Orange Mushroom is $30.00 (or €30.00 / £26.00), Snail to Zakum is $50.00 (or €50.00 / £44.00), and Orange Mushroom to Zakum is $20.00 (or €20.00 / £18.00).
When logged in to the Founder’s Package page you can see which package you have purchased, as well as the option to upgrade to another. Upgrades are available until 11:59 PM PDT on October 14, 2026, after which the option disappears along with the rest of the sale. Packages cannot be downgraded once purchased.
If you upgrade from the Orange Mushroom Package to the Zakum Package after Founder’s Access has started, the additional Zakum Package items will be delivered to your mailbox after your purchase is confirmed and upon your next login. Upgrades are not available on Steam.

Can I transfer Signature Style Collection items to my other characters in MapleStory Classic World?
Yes, Signature Style Collection boxes can be transferred between characters on the same account through the Cash Inventory within MapleStory Classic World.
Any selector coupons contained within the Outfit Set Coupon received from the box are untradable. Once a selector coupon is used, the resulting item can be transferred between characters on the same account in Classic World through the Cash Inventory. Please note that hairstyles and face styles obtained from hair or face coupons are untradable.
What can I do with duplicate or unwanted cash cosmetic loot box items in MapleStory Classic World?
MapleStory Classic World will introduce an exclusive redemption system for eligible cash cosmetic loot box items, including collaboration items, giving players additional ways to make use of eligible duplicate or unwanted items. Please note that this redemption system is exclusive to MapleStory Classic World and cannot be used or transferred between MapleStory and MapleStory Classic World.
All 22 answers are Nexon’s own, quoted from the Founder’s Package page. Two things are this site’s: the grouping above, which is a reading order laid over Nexon’s own sequence, and the removal of their per-item duration and tradability tables from the answers, because the same values are against every line in the packages above.
What this changes about the rest of this site
Nothing, and that is worth saying plainly on a page about a paid package. Not one item in any tier appears anywhere else on this site: no planner slot takes them, no damage figure moves for them, and they are absent from the item database because they are absent from the Closed Online Test 2 client this site is built out of. They are cosmetics that did not exist in the build that was tested.
The dates are the part that does reach the rest of the site. Founder’s Access on 6 October is the first live build, and it is the build that will start settling which of the numbers here still describe the game: the launch content list in the Ossyria report already holds Orbis, El Nath and 3rd Job Advancement back, and everything the tested client says about those is provisional from that day on. The changelog is where the difference gets written down, field by field.
Update, 7 October 2026: the Public Release client carries the packages. The three packages and the three upgrades are items in it (#2430017 to #2430022), and so are the Founder’s Thief and Manji avatar sets (#2430024 and #2430025), so each has an item page here now. The outfits themselves, the Marks of the Founder, the two Founder’s rings and the three Founder weather effects are lines in its Cash Shop data. They are still cosmetics, so no planner slot takes them and no damage figure moves. The changelog has the difference written down, Closed Online Test 2 against the Public Release, field by field.
