MapleStory Classic World client patch notes (Grand Launch)

Read from the client: the Grand Launch of 21 October 2026 against the Public Release of 6 October 2026, 242 additions, 227 removals and 291 revisions. New: 17 monsters with Stumpy and Faust among them, 31 maps, the Excavation Site among them, 38 items, 27 quests and 18 recipes. Removed: 227 Cash Shop catalog lines, none of them on sale.

Upstream’s datamine did not publish a diff for this build, so this site compares its two exports itself, in the shape the datamine’s own diffs take. The Public Release’s changes are one build back: Closed Online Test 2 to the Public Release.

About this page· 10 sections

What it is

Two client exports compared field by field, not Nexon’s patch notes, so it shows changes nobody announced. It can’t say why something changed: a typo fix and a rebalance look the same.

What it misses

Drop rates, shop stock and quiz answers live on the server, so they never show up here. Stumpy and the Excavation Site arrived in this build, so they are in it; anything the server switched on without a client change is not. What the Public Release left out of the second test is in the diff before this one, and its pages are kept here, marked CoT2.

Written by this site from two exports of the OSMS Data Explorer datamine, the Public Release as frozen on 6 October 2026 and the Grand Launch as pulled on 21 October 2026. More on the sources.

New 111 Changed 111 Removed 227

Another re-listing of the catalog. 227 lines are gone and 111 are new, nearly all of them equipment, and not one of the 227 was on sale. 84 of the 111 revised kept their id and changed what it names (1027058 was the Classic Masquerade Mask and is Pink Sunglasses). What a player can buy moved less: the three Megaphones went off sale under their old lines and on sale under new ones, at 350 and 1,500 NX, and the Mystery Fashion Crate, the Halloween Mystery Fashion Crate and the two Beauty Album slot films went on sale.

CoT2: From Closed Online Test 2 (Beta 2). Not in the Grand Launch; kept here as a record.Gone in the Grand Launch build. All 227 are Cash Shop catalog lines, none of them on sale when they went. The nine that were in Closed Online Test 2 too are kept in the catalog, marked CoT2; the rest are not kept.
