Classic World’s roadmap: Housing at Grand Launch, Forgotten Hollow on 18 November, guilds on 9 December
Nexon closed the Classic World Dev Panel at MapleStory Fest on 17 October with a roadmap: what arrives with Grand Launch on 21 October, the two updates after it, and what is planned beyond them. There is no written post of it yet, so this is the broadcast, with Nexon’s own slides.
The panel ran on MapleStory’s Twitch channel during the Fest in Los Angeles, and the roadmap is its last quarter of an hour. Each slide below is a frame of that broadcast, linked to the minute it was up, so a date here can be checked against the slide it came from. The slides give days and no hours, so nothing on this site counts down to an hour for these yet.
Grand Launch, 21 October
Housing is the headline. Nexon showed a mushroom house in the Henesys style and an apartment in Kerning City’s, each furnished from a Home Decoration window, and the housing guide has what the Public Release client already carries of it.

Mark of the Beta was always meant to start at Grand Launch: the Founder’s Access notes held it back for the day, and the Ossyria report says anyone who joins in Classic World’s early days can earn it. Halloween follows a week later, on 28 October.
November update, 18 November

Forgotten Hollow was in both closed tests and is not in the Public Release client, which kept one nameless map of it. This site’s Forgotten Hollow pages still describe the Closed Online Test 2 version and say so; they will be checked against the live one when it opens. Some accounts of the panel put this update on 19 November; Nexon’s slide reads 18 November.
December update, 9 December

Beyond the roadmap
The last two slides carry no date of their own; the panel put them after the December update, from 2027 on, with no month. The first shows a party fighting a boss and a crowd on a stair into the clouds: a new boss raid of Classic World’s own, and Ossyria. The second is titled “3rd Job: Forged by You”, and Nexon’s plan is a test server for it first, so that what players say there can change it before it arrives.
